The "new" NASCAR?
Ok, we are seeing the new Car of Tomorrow.
Are we seeing the new NASCAR of Tomorrow?
I think Tony said it best for a LOT of fans when he said that NASCAR seems to "favor" the better drivers and such.
Yeah, they had a rain delay today at Kansas and Tony was leading the race and yes, they had ran more than half the race and it would have been official but yet, NASCAR said no way and ran some more laps.
Then, Greg Biffle unofficially wins the race but yet he wasn't the first one over the finish line.
Is NASCAR sitting up there in their high-and-mighty seats deciding on who will win the race and the Chase?
In my opinion, I have a feeling that either Jimmie or Jeff Gordon will win the Cup this year for it seems that NASCAR wants them to.
Sad news from NASCAR
What a sad day for NASCAR. I had just learned that Benny Parsons, BP, has passed away at the age of 65.
BP had been battling a lung cancer for a short time.
Man oh man. Not seeing BP on sunday's just won't be the same now.
Nascar lost another great true man for the the sport he loved.
Benny you are great! RIP Benny Parsons. We will most certainly miss you as will ALL the drivers and fans. Current Mood: sad
Countdown to begin soon
Ok, do we have any #20
Tony fans here that are counting down to Daytona?!!!
I'm looking at 7wks!!
When will it get here?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night I watched the NASCAR Nextel Awards and it was not too bad.
Of course this year, my favorite driver took home the 2005 Nextel Cup and a nice "little" check. :-)
Man I can't wait til Feb. and we get to start this all over again.
Way to go Tony and the #20

But Tony won the race AND is now the new points leader for the Cup. YES!!!!
